I hate you all!!!!

It wasn't me, I wouldn't force anyone to buy anything for themselves. I however could do with a new graphics card and I'm quite interested in the soon to be released ATI 6000 series cards, I'll let you know which one I want so you can buy me one.:D

You bought that for video encoding? Either you've been given crap advice or you ignored the advice.

6gb of 1333mhz ddr3, 920 or 930 and gigabytes cheapest offering and you'd have a faster, cheaper system.

An ssd in a video encoding box is a poor choice too.

Waiting to encode a film??.... pfff.... I never have to wait :D

I just set it going half hour earlier and browse the interweb looking at shiny new stuff that my missus would kill me for if I spent money on it.:)

Just under a week ago I came on here asking how to speed up my PC for video encoding

You lot forced me into buying:

a new processor i7 870 and then to give it a little overclock. This then ended up with me buying better RAM, Corsair 2000Mhz, then a better cooling system, Corsair H70. If that wasn't enough, you made me upgraded the motherboard to a Gigabyte UD6 so I could get it to 4.0ghz.

Obviously this new motherboard is SATA6 and USB3.0 compatible so I had to upgraded my external to a Verbatim 1tb USB3.0 and my Internal to a Crucial C300 SSD6.

PLEASE STOP AS I'M RUNNING OUT OF MONEY

My mrs is going to hit the roof when she next looks at the bank  expecially when I told her last month I was buying an iPad because I didn't use the PC much

All of these and you only play solitaire?

I believe he bought the 870 as he was already on the 1156 socket...

Yeah, it was only a CPU change I was after. This overclocking stuff started to get addictive and I ended up buying no end of new bits :D

Wish I had gome 930 now but this will be ok till cheaper six cores are available. I'm happy with the performance boost anyway.
