"It was only cat" is her reply?

What she doesn't get is it's far more fundamental than that. She has inflicted needless suffering on an animal, and it's owners, for absolutely no reason other than her own entertainment or pure malice?

For absolutely no reason or gain she's upset people (& their poor cat)? This is what's annoying people... It's petty, needless vindictiveness which shows an utter lack of empathy!

I wonder what would have happened if she was instead caught freezing a spider with an aerosol on CCTV instead of putting a cat in a wheelie bin.

Ah, ok. So it's fine to talk about two buttons where one kills a human and the other kills a cat but to talk about an alternate event where a spider was killed is downright ridiculous.
