WTF! Woman Dumps Cat In Bin

"It was only cat" is her reply?

What she doesn't get is it's far more fundamental than that. She has inflicted needless suffering on an animal, and it's owners, for absolutely no reason other than her own entertainment or pure malice?

For absolutely no reason or gain she's upset people (& their poor cat)? This is what's annoying people... It's petty, needless vindictiveness which shows an utter lack of empathy!

I wonder what would have happened if she was instead caught freezing a spider with an aerosol on CCTV instead of putting a cat in a wheelie bin.

I wonder what would happen if people considered what they were posting, before they posted it?

Of course nothing. The internet both loves cats and is full of people who are so sad that they love a little witch-hunt. This is the dream.

Hah, don't be daft!

Well, those 'sad' people have probably made this womans life a living hell now. Good on them.

Ah, ok. So it's fine to talk about two buttons where one kills a human and the other kills a cat but to talk about an alternate event where a spider was killed is downright ridiculous.

Well... I'd push a button that'd kill a million spiders over one cat in a bin.

Then your a complete hypocrite with zero integrity!
A spider has just as much right to life as a cat does and it's just your selfish and irrational fear of them that makes you come out with silly comments like that imho

Imagine if it made the news.

One day I just started to receive these strange postcards through the door en masse, and they haven't stopped since.

:D :D

But why? There's no consequence to pushing the stranger button. You love your cat, you value it for the joy and happiness it brings to your family, yet you'd choose to forsake in favour of a stranger you don't know, would never meet and whose death would have zero effect on you. It would be as if the button didn't do anything at all.

The human condition in general is an incredibly interesting one. This isn't a slight on absolutely anyone at all, I just love having these kinds of philosophical and ethical discussions :p

The life of an average human is far more precious than a cat.
I would save the human, almost every time.
