Your biggest ever let down game... EVER!

Silent Hunter 5 – what a mess. Game didn’t even have binoculars. After hunting around in Silent Hunter 4 and in my early years Silent Service II, this was a total disaster.

reason why I do not own the game

my best silent huunter game has to be silent hunter 3 that was a step foward in my option, silent hunter 4 was not that bad ethoir, but my god what did they do to the damm interface O_O

Think for me it would be Neverwinter Nights. It was not really a bad game per se, but Bioware had promised that we could continue our epic travels from Baldur's Gate and to be honest, story wise, NWN was an abomination in comparison.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

Bought day of launch, even persevered through all of its faults and completed it. The thought that there is a sequal cominng makes me want to cry.

I could list almost every game I've played tbh, it seems like all games coming out are just not gripping and I just loose interest. The only games I play is GTA SA (MTA SA), TDU, going to try Metro 2033 and Mafia 2.

Gaming is going down the drain, maybe I'm just loosing interest in it, but one of the most gripping games I've played in the past 3 years is Minecraft (sort of like online lego building), untill control remap support went out of the window and no new client has being released :\ I just like games oyu can play to relax, not worry about how much money you have, what weapons and all that I need and all that.

They were all great until the console ported Conviction killed the last one, what a terrible game, and it was developed TWICE!

What about Splinter Cell: Double Agent, the one which basically got rid of the shadows in favour of either being in darkness or in light, Double Agent single-handedly destroyed all that was good wih Splinter Cell. That was an awful game, so awful in fact that I had erased it from my memory until these comments dredged it up.

Team Fortress 2....

Seriously what is the big deal about this utterly moronic, run around like a headless chicken for 3 minutes shooter all about?...

I was expecting so much more from it, when i finally got around to buying the Orange Box, i fired this up, and havent really returned to it at all....terminal boredom sets in after about 2 rounds...

You have no sense of humour then, its a quality game. You can have a real laugh on this i love it.

1. Star Trek Online: They got online part sadly the Star Trek part was MIA.
2. Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising: I don't think I even need to go into this....

can 100% agree with you there on that dragon rising mate, just wasnt a patch on cold war crisis. Where was the tank and heli missions? i finished the game in about a day just waiting and wanting a heli or tank mission, never been so let down waith a game in my life so thats my vote

Operation Flashpoint Dragon Rising!!!!!

The potential on TDU was high but unfortunately the reality was the handling in the game wasnt up to much and probably worse was the network code.
I dont blame the developers, it was still good but was not upto the dream concept

Operation Flashpoint 2 and Modern Warfare 2. You may have already noticed that both of them don't support Dedicated Servers, but that's not all i hated.

Modern Warfare 2 was just the original with a load of **** jam packed into it, that in my opinion made its soooooooooooooo annoying. On top of that i could have sworn Michael Bay directed this game, there were more ****ing explosions than there were in the Iraq war! i couldn't see **** from all the smoke.

And let me add another layer, i paid soooooo much attention to forums, RRS feeds and youtube videos anticipating this game. And all i got was crap, not even any Eminem playing through out!

Modern warfare 1 was so good, i loved it. Its just as shame its preddesecor ruined the series before its even started.

OFP:DR was alright just hated the Server system, you could barely ever get a good. game.

Söldner: Secret Wars
I was well into BF1942 and the Desert Combat mod at the time and Söldner looked like then next big thing with campaigns, distructable terrain and choppers! Turned out to be a big pile of poo :(

Spore

Hyped up by that Robin Williams demo. Enjoyed the creature creator. Then boycotted it because of the DRM. Now reviews have left me with no desire to go play.

Far Cry 2
Sprawling landscapes, tight story, clever AI... all ruined by respawning checkpoints.

1. Star Trek Online (Just failed after Cryptic took over)
2. MW2 - Played it for a month and never touched it again
3. Cities XL (Speaks for itself really)
