VI, VII, VIII and IX for me.
Couldn't stand X, in fact I never finished it, it bored me that much.

VII introduced me to the FF series, it left a lasting impact on a young lad back in 1997.
Its the finest game I've ever played, to this day I still play it! Actually going to go through it again on my HTC Desire just for the hell of it.
VIII was also a VERY good game, in some ways it edges VII, the storyline is sublime in VIII. However, VII overall wins.
I always enjoyed IX, but a lot of people hated it!
XII was just crap, what a waste of time!
XIII was very good, but far to linear
Hopefully the next instalment will be better!
The first time I played X I hated it! I got Wakka and thought this is poop, so just left it, but a year ago I went back to it and started again, and OH MY GOD! I think the storyline of this might be better than all previous FF's. The twist at the end was really good! The side quests are good and also rock hard (Dark Aeons). The mini games were awesome as well!
Still FFVII forever! I dream of seeing it remade in Advent Children style graphics and over the top action!

Man I would be a happy chappy with a remake. You seen the FFVII tech demo they brought out ages ago? The music takes me back

Erm, I'll bite the bait.
The first Final Fantasy game was released 23 years ago, so while I understand the point you're trying to make that RPG's are time consuming but I can guarantee you it doesn't take 23 years playing 24/7 to complete just 2 of those titles
. The amount of time people spend playing Call of Duty 4, WoW, Starcraft or other online classics is no less then the time spent to complete an FF.Thank you very much
.I voted for IX although I have to admit, VII is very very good, I just felt bad because it looks like VII is going to win anyway.

6-10 were great games, With 12 and 13 being good also.
But it goes to 7, With 8 being a close second.

They'd make so much money as well! I just don't get why they don't do it!
