Think we're fast approaching the bottom for SSD prices.
Pay special attention to the 60gig performance models vertex 2e, c300, some of the newer corsair ones etc
prices have dropped from
peak £180
mid £140
low £120 < Now
£100 is a give away price imho
So for the sake of £20 it's not worth taking the gamble as you never know - the prices could quite easily go up as fast as they've dropped (go and check the prices for last year !)
Wait for the Intel refresh. There are performance boosts mentioned on that roadmap. And better capacity. If you can wait fir Q4 this year, I would buy then.
If you're asking when will the prices stabilise.... Probably in about 5-10 years time. The technology with them is moving very fast. Which ever one you buy, in 6 months time there will be better deals. If you wait 6 months, the same thing applies.
I got my OCZ only recently, and it's simply amazing compared to mechanical drives. It's not even a particularly high performing model, but it loads windows in less than 30 seconds.
