Hey guys,
My sister and my bro-in-law are constantly bickering with my parents. It sounds horrible but I dread goin over for family get-togethers (Im goin next weekend) cuz I know things will fire up *again* and Im left caught in the crossfire feeling like a loon. People are meant to be happy when they go visit parents & siblings etc. but I dread it cuz I find the drama v. upsetting.

70% of the problem is caused by my dad I know who has good intentions but constantly hollers at my sister cuz shes "just" a housewive (one child) and doesnt have a job. He spoils her a lot..got her a house, a car...but then he says "youre not grateful" but shes like " I never said that" etc. He speaks to her like shes 18 or something. All this leaves my poor bro-in-law (he works very hard as an animator for PS3 games) feeling like a loser cuz as a husband HE wants to provide for her but his father-in-law gets everything for them. So this causes endless hollerin' in the house and I dunno if I can handle it anymore. It just drains you.
Im goin thru a divorce myself and this is somethin I just dont need. I tell you my family would have the entire world glued to their TVs if we went on Big Brother.
Any of u lot go thru something similar? How did u handle it?
