Er. It is horrible. It's either old men smoking their shisha on the pavement, or large groups of young men with nothing better to do than stare at the women and generally intimidate people. No one would accept such large groups of white guys merely 'hanging around'. It's dirty and full of takeaways, generally a bit of a hole.

No, lets us not fool ourselves here. That would be to complicated a thought for him to get at. He doesn't like the creatures with two legs walking that road, not what is sold there.

Then he needs to stop going there.

Im a firm believer in if things annoy you, dont do them.

If that means moving, then move, like i did, then you dont have to constantly moan about things.

So your point is that ghettos or something like them exist in other places? Or that the people in Edgeware Road might be British? Neither of which has anything much to do with the amount of money that they have or that of a country.

Somebody brought up Edgware Road, I was merely commenting on that. We're talking about 'integration' of 'foreigners', and Edgware Road is a great example of how it just simply doesn't happen.

No, my point is ... and I cannot believe I need to explain this ... is that Edgeware road who is a shining example of a wealthy, vibrant area frequented by coloured (oh the horror) foreigners that behave according to our laws. I go there at least once a month. I'm made to feel welcome amongst the clientèle there.

We had a poster with little to zero knowledge of the area tar it with a big brush without really knowing anything about the area. He most likely saw the colour of the majority of people that frequent the area and made up his mind by calling it a 'ghetto' whilst ignoring the fact that 90% of the towns in this country looks like ghetto's.

It happens because whites pull up their noses and don't bother go there. I go there, I'm made to feel welcome. I go to the Ethiopian restaurant in Islington and is made to feel welcome. You don't see whites there because whites don't mix with inferior creatures remember.
 
Round my way for instance, I have a fair amount of of Poles. Hard working & friendly. All learning English. All working.

I also live near a load of English dole scummers. Too lazy to work. Rude, ignorant, racist and obnoxious. Popping out grubby little oiks to milk the system.

I prefer my Polish neighbours.
 
But what do you say to someone who went to school with all white English people, lives with all white English people, socials with all white English people and works with all white English people. I know one Asian lad and thats it.

Am I a racist because I had no choice in the matter.

Thank you for the clarification. It was effectively a non-sequitur stating that there was more money in Edgeware Road than in the whole of Scotland and that's why I asked you to explain.
 
Anyone else not bothered by the fact that this place has become so intolerant and xenophobic lately that the OP actually felt it was alright to post such a thread?

It's the decent Asian, French, German, whatever posters I feel sorry for here.

No your just lucky that Wigan or where you live isnt exactly the place where immigrants want to go;).

Personally i think London is where most immigrants come to because the jobs here pay much more money than up north where its pretty grim in some areas...i was looking at a job up in manchester a while back and the same sort of job here was paying £5k more than what was being offered up north.

Saying that though, wages are higher here in London due to the expensive cost of living i guess whereas up north its cheaper ie housing etc.
