19's and 100mm drop = epic win :)

19's 100mm drop + speed bump= epic failure of progress

fwiw with 19's and massive drop i had no rubbing of tyres to arch even 5 up although the sump guard did tend to scrape on any road debris

added a steel sump guard which tended to catch on everything

this is how i roll these days :) epic 4x4 ride height and checking the arches for catsand homeless people before every journey

Tyres in the arches here too!

Get that rear raised already, haha. My old Saxo was (unintentionally) lower at the rear. Felt like I was going uphill all the time... and don't even talk about snap oversteer. :o

Handling over looks every time. Mine is -35mm which handles great and is no trouble at all drive. :)

Snap - perfect.

Mine is lowered ~35-40mm from stock (Fiesta ST) and doesn't look too low...but there are bits that stick out underneath where the front suspension mounts that are a fair bit lower than the front splitter.

I took it to one place to have some work done to it and their had a lift to raise the car, not a pillar lift like most, but one you just drive over....anyway the car wouldn't go on, you'd get on and edge forward and then hear a click of metal on metal as the lift (which is probably 10-12cm high when folded flat as it was here). Had to do it the old fashioned way with jacks. What amused me and the guys who worked on the car was that they'd had various TVRs go on without any problems, then a lowered Fiesta comes along and won't fit...

The last car i lowered was my MK3 Golf. That was on raceland shocks and -60mm (supposedly) springs.

This made a huge improvement over the standard GL suspension that was there before.

Before that, my Rover Coupé came with Avo coilovers that were slammed as low as they go, and wound as hard as they go. I ended up raising them about 30mm and softening them up a fair bit before finding something more optimal.

Neither of the above rubbed though, as they had the correct offset wheels and the right tyres so that the tyres tucked under the arch rather than hit it.

THAT'S -35mm? Jesus, they must have come on 4x4 springs from the factory.

I'm lowered on some unknown height Apexi springs on the Soarer. Love the stance, hate the sound of scraped exhaust (and occasional sump) on London's many speed humps :(.
