Car wing mirror spiders

How bizarre.

I was in London all weekend and left my car overnight in the centre, only to return to it to find a spider web in exactly the same place on both sides!

Never seen that before.

Always get the damn things....caught one the other day and knocked him off before he could get behind the mirror.

Came to the car next day....fresh new web

I usually get a stick and gentle tug on the web and wait for the 8 legged freaks to come out before sending them on a little fast ride across the drive hahaha

I have a spider in my wing mirror. He even sticks his head out now and then and has a look about while I'm driving. I've named him Phillip :D

Good, it was intended as such :p

Just imagine you all in your leathers, lid on, blipping the throttle looking "rude" and then all ofa sudden you jump up and run about flapping your arms because of the spider*

*I realise it probably didn't happen like that but its what I am imagining :D

close...but no cigar. :p

i sort of fumbled about til the lights went green lol. i dont like squashing spiders, so i got him on my key and dropped him off on the road.

I like to leave stickers on stuff such as my 3000 watt PA
I especially leave the blue plastic on screens.
You wouldn't believe how many people say 'You can take those stickers off you know'.

I cannot tolerate them being on, even on other people's stuff, it's like setting the volume to 17. *shudders*

I've seen an Aussie bloke do this, he was driving across Bowness bay, then he locked up the brakes and stopped on the pedestrian crossing, jumped out the hire car and ran around flapping his arms around his head.

Claimed he'd seen a spider on his shoulder that was "THIS BIG?" (making a 1cm gesture). "Dude, there's no venomous spiders here that can bite you." I think he was a bit embarrassed.

I have the same issue, is there something you can spray behind the mirror, that will **** them off, like dunno, some diluted citrus juice or soap or something?

Me and my arachnids have reached a diplomatic solution. I let them reside on my car with regular feeding, I in return get my window bugs cleaned on a 24/7 basis.

All is well so far, but they multiply fast... its not long before they start demanding for more. Nuclear war.

Every gal I pick up always gets scared of them but they are my pets! These little things need a home too. Don't be mean guys let them live the air of their lives!

My cat is sitting deviously close to the mirror of my car staring frantically around every nook and cranny. I have confidence that my problem will be resolved.

...or when I start my car in the morning, I'll be filmed and put on YouTube for what happens...

I've named my mirror spider Geoff. I find myself greeting him every day.

The girlfriend hates spiders so it means she stays away from the car which means I avoid an insurance claim on the inevitable accident.

Geoff wins, I win.

I have 2, one on each mirror.

I think I may name them. It has to be the best and smartest place for a spider to live really.
