1055T Bought Over-Clocked But Having Problems.

As Jay mentioned in post#3, Send it Back!

You paid a lot of money for a pre-overclocked system that is STABLE.

You have not got that. Even using non-demanding games or apps, its still giving you grief.

You are going to have a lot more issues when you try and use the system as you want to, i.e. gaming, videos etc..

You have a Waranty. Use it.

Here it is:

Service Package
- Full 12 Month collect and return warranty
- Each specification is assembled from handpicked components for compatibility and stability
- Telephone, web note and forum technical support

this isn't the first time a ocuk overclocked system as been like this.

My mate has just bought one, exactly the same problem.

They told him to reset the CMOS and then they're going to tell him how to overclock over the phone...

Too many of these 1055t bundles/systems are being sold unstable. It's just not good enough IMO.

OC is a business that takes the fastest cutting edge technology then they make it faster still.

That comes with risk like any other business. For every 1 pc that people moan about.. 40 will be ok. Just thought I would post the flipside that people seem to forget... and no I am not on the payroll ;)

To the OP, get some communications going with them via webnote/phone. They have always sorted out any issues I have had with OC'd bundles over the years.

Just to keep this updated. I spoke to the returns department early this morning, he was polite and very professional. Gave me a customer returns number, and even asked if I wanted the system picking up today. As I was at work I scheduled it for tomorrow, so all in all. Sending it back tomorrow, and was very impressed with the customer service.

thats what i wanted to hear ive been saying this a few times ill be ordering my bundle hopefully toniteall being well if the bro comes down :)...

Don't be put off, just bear in mind that the overclock may not be stable, and if it isn't, they will pick it up, take it away and mend it for you.

I was looking at buying this system but im a bit put off now

Don't be - I got mine built up yesterday, running sweet as a nut :D

this isn't the first time a ocuk overclocked system as been like this.

I had a problem with mine the Titan Prism bundle the AMD X6 1090T.

Although i did get help from rjkoneill and was given many bios settings to try. All stable now.

So if someone from OcUK tells you to change settings in you BIOS does that still void your warranty as it is you that is making the changes?

It can't do, as all you're doing is what their guys would do at the other end, inserting settings and testing.

Just don't tell them if something packs in and has to be returned. :p

I'm also going to add to this thread, bought this system 2 weeks ago and have had exactly the same problem regarding this boot error screen (I had also previously returned it since it failed to boot properly which ended up being the CPU not placed correctly) I was told to go into the BIOS to load the CMOS settings profile where there was none to be found, they sent it me via email and I loaded onto a USB pen and tried loading it from there which only resulted in it crashing.

It ran like a charm while it was working, but the fact that this system is obviously running on unstable settings or not tested correctly is starting to concern me.
