If they are good they are easily worth that price tag seeing as a decent hoover will cost at least 50%+ of that, thing is how good are they and how close to the edge do they clean.

I wonder if somone will make a bin th has a little port + robot arms etc o nit that the roomba could dock with and the bin would empty it/put i na new bag when it got full, before it went back to it's charging dock

How loud are these? Surely if they take ages to hoover, which they apparently do, that's a lot of time they're making pointless noise?

does it matter, if you set it up while you are at work.

Most hovers aren't that noisy, unless you like in a plasterboard house.
And it is probably quieter than most due to it's size must have a smaller motor.

Note the iRobot Roomba takes 45mins to vacuum the average living room. That's a long time. They do a fair job though, from experience.

Personally I like the idea of the solar powered lawn mowers, at least you don't have to clean your carp up with those.
