Simply post what stupid decisions you think companies/organisations have done.

1) Changing the mascot for Mr Muscle from the scrawny guy, to the animated msucely guy :S
2) Introducing a guy into the "super sexy cpr" videos

The Kabul Bank has gone bankrupt because the President of Afghanistan ensured his own brothers were major shareholders, they then promptly invested boatloads in the cesspit that is Dubai of all places. Nepotism ladies and gentlemen.

Seriously though, Pasta Hut.

That was a poorly thought out one for sure!

People go to Pizza Hut for a yummy, possibly all you can eat slice of pizza, which isn't particularly great for you.

Renaming some of your stores Pasta Hut, then trying to show that you do great pasta is terrible for the following reasons:

- Previous experience of Pasta at Pizza Hut is some week old congealed crap on the salad bar.
- People go to Pizza Hut for Pizza... not pasta!
- If you wanted a decent pasta dish, go to an Italian restaurant, not a chain that makes pizza!

It was a marketing campaign, free advertising in lots of papers and it may even have drawn more people into the restaurants to try their pasta. They were never going to rename all of them. Actually a very good decision.

Fairly sure the AOL Time Warner merger is considered pretty terrible.

RBS buying ABM Amro for a shedload of cash only to find out they were seriously toxic leading almost to RBS going bankrupt has to be pretty much up there too.

Activision not putting dedi servers in MW2 and totally ruining it.

Cod -> No dedicated servers.

LOL

it's one of the most successful games of all time. It has grossed over $1 billion and had 8 million unique players playing on-line.

It also holds the record for the highest grossing media (including DVD / blu-ray etc..) of all time on launch day, when it grossed $310 million on the FIRST DAY.

Yeah totally a bad decision to not included dedicated servers ....

Nobody cared !

Anybody remember Dasani water ?

Weird thing is they all love it in the states !

in the states it's filtered properly as you'd expect of a premium water, whereas here in the UK it was just bilgewater pumped up from the Thames with the twigs and the bodies removed :D
