A friend of mine is claiming that because she has been doing nothing all day, the following are classified as good and balanced meals. Note that nothing else as been eaten in between these.

Breakfast
Tea

Lunch
Half a Tin of Soup
One Slice of Bread

Dinner
Half a Tin of Beans
One Slice of Toast
Cheese
Jalapeños

What do you think OcUK?

/Edit 1: Ooo, just found out that a third of a cucumber has also been consumed!

Edit 2: She just asked me to post that she will have some fruit later and that she is vegetarian.

Wow, huge kcal deficit lol.
I'd be having headaches and hunger pains for hours!

Balanced in what sense? You could add breakfast + lunch on a scale and weigh them against dinner?

It's a pretty rubbish set of meals, no fresh fruit or vegetables (unless you count the jalapenos I suppose) with little in the way of nutrition or sustenance. It might be enough to keep her going but it's a long way from a set of healthy and balanced meals.

thats enough food for tea since lunch and dinner are the same thing :)

Wait, what... No they're not. You have a sandwich for your dinner then? You must have a serious calorie deficit! :p

Dinner is had every day, your biggest meal of the day, tea is had if you haven't had lunch because you ate dinner at lunch time!

Right, just been asked to post:

Ok, ask what they think if I have a salad consisting of cucumber, cherry tomatoes, spring onion, lettuce, jalepenos, red pepper with a half teaspoon of pesto and about 10g cheese instead of the beans on toast.

hmm, I hate seeing stuff like this. Why people have started to think eat almost nothing! It's good for you! I have no idea.

Tell her to have oatmeal with her tea.

Also tell her to try Tofu
