Just venting my confusion on something.

Met a great girl last year and after months of just chatting we met up 3 months ago, get on great etc etc.

Last night we spent the best part of 2 hours talking on the phone and at 9pm she says why don't you come over I really wanna see you. So i say yeah ok no problem but i can't stay long as i have work in the morning.

So i get to her place at about 9:30 we have a quick chat and drink, one of her friends turns up and well us chatting ends up me having to entertain her 8 year old daughter for 45 mins playing snap and her chatting with her mate.

Fast forward to around ~10:30 and she finally sits down for a chat with me, at which point she says why don't you pop home and get some stuff for tomorrow and you can stay the night. I think ok sure no reason why not aslong as im not late for work, before anyone asks nothing was going to happen, we both agreed to take things slow because of her daughter and not wanting to complicate matters until we are both sure.

Anyway we end up chatting till almost 2am, several drinks later and she starts going on about how she doesnt really want a relationship and thinks it would be best she stay single for a little while, at which point thinking why on earth did you invite me over then.

She text me this morning asking if i was ok, which to be honest other than being knackered, she did **** me off a bit, but she said she does really really like me, but she needs time to think.

Confusion doesnt even begin to sum it up!

Lol @ "time to think", its the age old phrase, probably was used even before biblical times for christ sake!

The only thing to do now is to tell her to ram it, and go into complete ignore mode. She will either want your babies and be pestering you, or you wont hear from her again.

Either way you will save yourself lots of grief. I bet she even gets you to babysit her sprog.

So basically after a whole evening (and possible others) of ****ing about, you have nothing to show for it except a woman who doesn't want a relationship.

Yet, she has managed to keep you on the phone for 2hrs (WTF), get you to come over and spent time at hers chatting to friends and looking after her kid. Get you to go back to yours, to return to hers to stay up late and give you NOTHING for it (other than a "nice chat").

If there was anyone who needed to stop putting it on a pedestal, you are that person.

All your one evening experience described here to me says, is that she has given you NOTHING and at the same time managed to wrap you around her finger?

Bail, Bail, Bail now before it's too late. Seriously, give up. Don't bother. Find someone who won't **** you about.
 
You could always try talking to her about it?

Wait, that would be the sensible thing to do and that is not the OcUK way.

Just accept that you are now her bitch ;)

Never try to understand women.. They are are complicated animals. I've had one for 18 years and I still can't get her to beg or roll over!!
 
She's told you the truth at least - she doesn't want a relationship.

What she wants is a friend.

If you can handle being a woman's best friend, then do it. Just don't expect it to work too well if you're at all interested in her for anything more.

What she means is she wants a **** buddy.

How did you not work that out? Are you some kind of homo?
