Doesn't have to be a strictly OCUK affair. Friends are always welcome!
Not to mention, a run that's £10 cheaper may well equate to spending an extra £10-£15 in fuel to get there.

Indeed but I feel that with the majority of the forum being from down south, that will never happen!
Even though us Northerners make the effort to go down there![]()
I don't see what the problem is with Powerstation.
So the run is more expensive than other places... but you have to ask yourself... what are they skimping on if the costs are lower? Maintainance? Equipment?
We all know the PS rollers pretty well and can usually tell if they're reading incorrectly. Not to mention, a run that's £10 cheaper may well equate to spending an extra £10-£15 in fuel to get there. Oh but wait, we get free pizza... wow, I'm sold.

I don't see what the problem is with Powerstation.......
So you are completely biased towards powerstation and abusing others like Eurospec of being more like cowboys because they are cheaper and you might have to travel further.......

Not to mention, the distance is pretty much equal to Powerstation from both London and Preston (where I live) so why should the Northern members be made to have to travel further whereas the Southern members get an easy ride.
I've said what I wanted to say.Oh yeah, I forget how many times I've set off from Manchester at 6am to get down to Powerstation for a rolling road meet. I see it's mostly the south eastern members who want the RR to be moved to Eurospec.
I wonder why
And of course I'm biased towards Powerstation. Both times my car has been on the rollers it's been there. Why would I want to take it to another RR and not have anything to base the figures on.

Another reason why I prefer Powerstation being that it's fairly central for the majority of members.

I personally would prefer it cost me more in petrol and see more/regular people then have it right down in the south to meet aload of selfish people who wont drive no more than 10miles for a meet.![]()

No offence mate, but as much as I enjoy the social aspect, I think driving a 6hr 350 mile return trip in a car that can do as little as 7-8mpg, requires servicing every 4500 miles, and which would cost me over £100 fuel for a RR session which I recently got for free - as a bit much.
If that makes me selfish then so be it.
Nobody is forcing you to go?
