This may sound dumb as I havn't read it anywhere but is it right they are releasing 1 version in different areas? USA = normal, Europe = Plus, and asia = Advanced? Whats that about?

This is correct. The USA version is grey interior has less tool-less kit in and a 120mm fan at the front. The European version in my review above and at OcUK is black interior tool-less and 200mm fan at front. There is going to be another version in ASIA called the 912 Advanced which will feature a window with similar features to the 912 Plus (European). Confusing... no idea why this has been done but those in the states have come off worse!!

I'm guessing it's because the different regions have different levels of competition at each pricing niche, and are tailoring their versions to fit these niches.

Hardware Canucks have a pretty good run-down of the US version of the HAF-912 here:

As Mishima says I think they got the poorer end of the deal, but it would be interesting to see how this basic version would do over here priced aggressively at Antec 300 levels.

Agreed that the americans got boned in getting the bare spec. Just hoping they just testing the responses of each type and see the response/demand before deciding which others to ship off to where. Hope so anyway because its just weird to release 1 version in each place.

Something as basic as the box is even worse. EU get a nice colourfully branded box whereas the Americans get a brown recycled thing!!
