Don't let it bother you, I'd honestly say Muslim's are seen as 'bad guys' by a lot people nowadays, but you all storm head first into arguments and controversy instead of just letting it go.
The press aren't really helping though, but they are the press after all, its their job to stir up controversy and arguments.

Lol. Where have I said anything of the sort. I would like it if everyone respected everyone's Religion. Not just Islam. As I stated before, Islam says to respect people of other religions, Islam is about peace. Nowhere have I demanded.
I dont live in fantasy lands, and it is around.
And I dont really see anything good or credible about memorising a holy book, unlike you. The more people of any certain religion that actually go to the extreme of memorising their entire holy book, the crazier that religion and its followers are.
Im fairly certain that there are plenty of crazy Christians out there that have also memorised their holy book.

Well hes had a meeting with a few muslim imams i think so see what happens plus Palin has also said that he should refrain from doing such an act as it will only antagonise people further.
Tbh it doesnt really bother me as im not directly affected by it...it just amuses me somewhat to see what peoples real perceptions are about islam and muslims in general. What worries me is the people who are caught in the middle of this ie the people in afghanistan and iraq...wouldnt want to be them right now.
And yes the press arent helping whether it be the western press or the press over in the middle east/asia as both sides are whipping themselves into a frenzy.

Urm, people do know the Qur'an off by heart. You know when Muslims pray, especially in Ramadan, they read a "Taraveeh" prayer.
In this prayer the Qur'an is recited out loud by the imaam or by someone who know's the Qur'an in full, all chapters over the period of the 30 days of fasting.

Whos we exactly??...majority of muslims dont want concessions made for them..maybe the extremists do but the mass majority of muslims dont really catre if there are special allowances made for us...i sure as hell dont care either way

What you said was a comparison between memorizing the entire Koran, or a 4 digit pin. Thats kind of what a comparison is.
