What're the Samsung portable hard drives like?

I was looking for a western digital drive on ocuk, but it seems they aren't stocked here. There are some samsung ones though. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I'm after a usb powered 500gb hard drive, but am now unsure which to go for. Does it matter which?

I paid a bit more than it is now, even though it was on offer.

Has caused me no problems at all. Good speeds, nice little pouch for it and it is pretty small as well. I can recommend.

I should really write a review for it on the sales page. Will try and remember to do it on the weekend.

I somehow lost the back on a night out last weekend. Have ordered a new one, from China.

Have got 3 of the 640gb Samsung ones in different colours to try keep track of what on them can't fault them and haven't had any issues unlike my maxtor which just decided to stop working after about 5 months and needed to be formated loosing everything on it.
