Actually, the Koran, and a lot of Islamic teachings outside of Pakistan are intolerant and hateful of Hiduism too as it is considered shirk, the single biggest and only unforgivable sin in Islam - particularly because they worship many gods and make idols of them.

And why should anyone listen to their requests for respecting Islam when they have no respect towards other religions?

I don't disagree that the animosity between Hinduism and Islam exists. It is really a cultural thing as well as a religious one.

Idolatry is frowned upon by many non polytheistic religions, mainly in response to the Pantheons of Antiquity with which they were vying at the time of their inception.

You obviously arent reading all of the koran. Most muslims consider modern day Chrsitians and Jews to no longer be people of the book because Christians worship Jesus like a God, and, well, they really just hate Jews for some bizare and unknown reason.

Its funny how you always think that you're right and I'm wrong, when absolutely no one other than the same few mates of yours believe in any of the crap you write around here, and I am actually right about 90% of the time, but you continue to focus on the few mistakes I make due to being human and naturally prone to making a few errors.

Unlike you however, I always say when I have made a mistake, and everyone other than you or your Muslim chums seem to be able to accept this, while you lot carry on with your brain dead hyena pack mentality. Unfortunately it is less respectful with regards to religions outside of those of the book. Probably because it was in direct competition with the arabian animist religions at the time of it's formation. As for it being a cultural India v Pakistan thing, I would say that is putting the cart before the horse as the Pakistan v India thing is due to the differing religions.

Separating Islam from it's related Culture is very difficult to do. With the Pakistan-India reference I was referring to their Religions rather than politics.

The animosity dates from the first Islamic invasions into the Sub-Continent and I would expect that the predominant polytheistic stance of Hinduism was considered the same as those Persian and Arabian Animist religions.

Not all Christians worship Christ as a God either, The trinity isn't universal.

My main argument here is that you attribute minority beliefs and interpretations to everyone of the Islamic faith and then say you do not hate all Muslims. I don't think you know what you are saying sometimes, or that you are so polarised against Islam that you are blinded to the very real fact that not all Muslims are extremists or the very real fact that most Muslims do not interfere with or show disrespect to other religions or non-religions.
