ARGH. :( I just somehow found a keyboard shortcut in Firefox that closes the tab you're working in? Blasted netbook and its tiny keys supplanting the shift key with a ctrl key. I'd typed you a long and detailed reply before losing it close to the end. DOH!

Suffice to say I don't know a great deal except that Buddhist literature agrees with what is now known as the multiverse theory, states that life has existed since "beginningless time" (allowing for the fact that individual universes crash into and out of existence), and talks a great deal about what we now call sub-atomic particles. It also states that all matter is merely a vibration of light, condensed, giving the illusion of solidarity when in fact it is just that - light/energy. Again quantum mechanics (I think it that's the one?) agrees.

Buddhism talks about this universe and the earth in terms of kalpas and aeons of time (exceedingly long periods), and as such definitely doesn't ascribe to the "couple of thousand years old" assertion given by Abrahamic religion. On that note:

How does any religion describe Dinosaurs since God never made those, he simply made the Earth, sun, plants, skies, animals and humans all within a week.

I havnt really read into Islam's beliefs on creationism, but I have read plenty into Christian creation beliefs, and also been to evolution vs creationism debates.

I easily concluded that anyone that can possibly believe in creationism and disown evolution is a purely brain dead monkey.

I'm more concerned about Russia and what direction she's taking than the Islamic world to be honest.

Most indians tend to hate muslims its just part of our culture son. Hence why I asked :D i didnt need an essay about how I think about musilims.

I know how i think.

I love my muslim friends there not terrorists <3

Because it still has that expantionist mentality. Last year it practicaly anexed two significant regions of a Sovereign nation whilst the EU rolled over onto its belly.

Also it uses its Oil and Gas as political tools.

God bless the US thats all I can say.

Oh and dont worry about the US breaking up

Dont over estimate the Chechens formidable fighters that they are their acts of rebellion and Carnage are acceptable losses to the Russian Government just like Northern Ireland was to ours.

What about the myriad religions that make no claim on the age of the earth? Or by "religion" do you actually mean the abrahamic faiths?

Russian Gas and Oil are Nationalised ours isnt big difference and even if ours wasnt I would like to think that we have moved on from the Colonial Era Gunboat type diplomacy.

Good move imho....i can see why they would do such a thing but the fact is that it will just make things so much worse...surely you can see that??

Unless your saying that its fine to antagonise the extremists then when we get attacked here in the West by their actions...we sit here and cry about it and then further condemn them when in reality the west has provoked the extremists into carrying out their attacks.

Actions always have ramifications so if the Pastor has called it off then i applaud him for seeing some sense...its just not worth the pain and devastation that his actions would cause imo.
