Wet wipes > Toilet Paper

Well, in my experience, wet wipes tend to smear rather than wipe (with liquid dumpages, that is), they're good for normal dumpages but you need something to soak up the moisture when things aren't so solid.

I always take both dry paper and wet wipes, my preferred material is always the dry stuff. Maybe your wilderness dumpages aren't as runny as my wilderness dumpages normally are when things get a tad fluid. :D

I wish you could have seen. Mine was like rusty arse piddle

I use bog roll because I'm not 3 months old.

At home I only use the paper form, but when you're out in the wilderness things are a little different.

Well, what happened to me the last time, I didn't know it had hit me until it happened, I got a sort of bung around the exit and of course pushed a little to help it on its way, only for that bit to rapidly exit followed by a stream of the fluid stuff, it was quite messy, exactly like someone said above; an explosion. Coupled with being eaten alive by midgies at the same time...well it was certainly memorable.

I tried to use the wet wipes first but like I say, it was just smearing and adding moisture, so I used a lot of dry toilet paper and then cleaned up as best I could with the wet wipes. I think it was from dodgy water that did it, I had a bad case for about 3 days, which as I'm sure you're aware is definitely not a good thing for many reasons when you're out in the middle of nowhere.

wipe arse with tissue then wet wipe for the clean effect whats the issue of smearing, etc? :D

I wash my arse with a bottle of water after tissue, its an asian thing :p

what if you lose your left hand in an industrial accident or the likes?
