Ugh, I thought that too! Really looking forward to this though.
I've skipped every COD since 2, none have appealled to me at all. This one looks like they're fixing the whole MP portion that put me off all the more recent ones. So hoping to give it a go

(think I just need to find a group of peeps that play for the objective and not just to overpower themselves).

I agree. Treyarch seem to get a lot of stick for being lesser devs compared to IW but at least they are trying some new things and sorting out a lot of complaints from MW2. Whereas IW have just completely ignored a lot of things.

MW2 taught me not to get hyped about games anymore. But Black Ops is looking really fun with the hole ''1 bullet'' game mode. I can see hours of private match fun. ^_^

The wager matches do look fun. The fact you can't invite friends,join session in progress or use equipment means they could be a nice alternative to the rest of the MP.

Some more info on tactical insertions

Trying to use Tac Insert but are getting Tac Insert spawned camped? Well, you probably deserve that but you can now cancel your own Tac Insert in the Killcam. That's new to Black Ops.

And

The main reason I am not as worried about Tac Insert as you? We can disable it. And, I just did for Free-For-All (hardcore and core) variants.

AND

The game has a reporting system. Report boosters and let's make examples of them. Once you lay the ban hammer on enough bad people word will get around that we don't take too kindly to this sort of thing.

stuff like that has been said before, turns out to be B.S, but for this i hope its not... FPS's are fun,but it only takes one knob to ruin it

Is it just me, or from the youtube videos of the multiplayer it looks really arcady (more so than mw2) and a bit unimpressive?

I don't think you can get more arcadey than MW2. it's about the same.

I'm look forward to Black ops more than Mw2
