Bad Company 2 worth a shot?

Hey guys.

Right, im currently debating whether to get BC2 or not.

One side of my doesnt, as BF2 is my favourite game of all time, and i dont think it can match up to it/im thinking it might be a dodgy console port.
Also looks like its a bit too "Modern warfare" compared to BF2 (Crazy laser scopes and heat vision and crazy weapons like a shotgun grenade launcer that fires tank rounds ;)

The other side is thinking, what the hell, that TFU clan looks like a laugh so ill have people to play with.

Jobless atm so being very careful with my money, but i fancy a treat ;)

Let me know, will i be disapointed and be yearning for Dual seater jets on Daquin Oil fields and epic battles around the back flags of Karkand?

Conquest is fun with the game in it's current state. Nothing compares to BF2 Karkand though.

For £12, it's definitely worth buying.

Didnt even realise you could get it that cheap, googled and know where from now :)

Might as well take a stab for that tbh!
 
I was also a BF2/2142 fan that got BC2.

For the first hour, I hated it. After that, I was, and still am, addicted :)
It's quite a bit more frantic than BF2 due to the smaller map sizes and the fact I like playing on 32 player spamathon servers :D

It's a fantastic game and I play it regularly. It could use some more maps however. Well worth buying though.
 
Its a great game. I wasn't really into the whole Battlefield / MW games until this one, its good fun but you need to be on comms with some friends though.
 
BF2 was pretty much the only game I ever played for 3-4 years. Picked up BC2 on release and just couldn't get into it. Its not like its a bad game, its just after playing a quality game like BF2 for so long I was expecting more. Played it for a couple weeks then gave up.

I can agree this guy however I do play just for a giggle with my old BF2 clan buddies , most of us are playing TF2.

For £12 it may be worth a punt for you but if your a die hard BF2 fan it will be a chore to load , to me it's just another console port and currently the biggest hackfest I have seen since MW2.
