Gillette Fusion Vs Wilkinson Sword Quattro

I'm rolling single blade disposable BIC's atm, yes that's right BICs the people that make the biro's. It gets me shaved and I don't get cut what more do you want from a razor :p

Out of those two, wilcos by a country mile, i never got along with Gillette stuff.

However i'm one of the Merkur crowd now, but i'll not bore everyone :p

I used to use Quattro a lot, it was fine. Then I went and got a Fusion and my probability of getting small unnoticeable cuts per shave increased from 0 to about 0.6. Then again I shave once or twice a week and have to saw through my facial hair.

i really couldnt get on with the quattro's at all, just wouldnt shave my face. The fusions are good when the blades are new but they seem to blunt very quickly these days (im sure my blades used to last longer a few years ago).

Ive not used my fusion in a while though, i too have been a member of the merkur club for about a year now. wouldnt ever go back.

Wait until you go through puberty and need to use a real razor. :D

You guys will be pleased to know that Wilkinson Sword will be releasing a razor that's a better shave than Fusion and cheaper too (at current RSPs).

I'm basing that on feedback from our retail customers, who have shaved with Fusion yet preferred our new product when we gave them an early sample.

They're not out in the UK yet and I can't reveal the exact launch date of it, but it's a fantastic product and has three new features never seen on a wet razor before.

We've not just added a new blade either, we're at the point where the closeness of a wet shave has peaked but all consumers who we survey, think there can always be less irritation.

So this new razor is designed around skincare, whilst maintaining a close shave.
