What does one do with this chemical metal?

put a fair amount on the nut and then the tool (make it a fairly sizeable unit) push and hold the two together, as its recessed use the kind that doesnt need a catalyst added to it. leave it to bond, once satisfied apply man power and hopefully marvel in your removed bolt!

its funky powerful stuff

Im thinking that could well be beyond my massive ability, i will wait till the mechanic bloke comes tomorrow.

What is the catalyst by the way? Sounds like a bit of an exhaust.

you could make a rather large mess of things but where is the fun in waiting, surely the concept of welding metal with a tube of glue has whet your appetite?

im tempted to start welding items in and around my desk to feed my self created desire!!

I am a "he who dares wins" type of fella normally.

And i like the sound of this magic welding, but my problems are many fold.

Unlike you i can no longer get in the car and go in search of the holy grail of chemical metal, due to my ban of pure joy, that means a long cab ride and the risk of an irritating driver telling me his life story.

Or waiting for my son to land from work and listen to him whine hes tired all the way to Halfords.

Or order some online for tomorrow in which case the mechanic bloke will be here.

Or ring a mate for a lift, and have to listen to "what the **** are you doing Mark, just pay someone"

My life has been reduced to these huge decisions now you see :)

New series of roadwars yesteday, young guy in a BMW 1 series doing 105 on a busy motorway, to further compound the issue he had two totally bald rear tyres, he got 6 points and a couple of 100 quid fine.

Joke systems is a joke.

damn I forgot your plight :(

I feel your pain, if only I was on call I would create a customer fault in the kent area and deliver you some liquid magic - sounds wrong on so many levels!

Im going to hit the liquid magic soon, today has depressed me :)

me too!

I have to cook dinner for me and 'her who should be obeyed tonight' not allowed to order take away anymore or fob her off with dishes from www.deliverance.co.uk, 33 and rather inept in the kitchen - that turns me to the liquid magic to deal with the stress.

rebuilding car engines - no problem

recovering 18tb of data on a production array data in a live 5nines environment with a legally covered downtime of 15 minutes (about £50,000 per minute after that!) - no problem

any amount of acrobatics you could imagine on the snow - no problem

cooking - problem!!

I feel that pain, i cant cook toast.

Now barbecue though, king of the grill!

You two really are bored aren't you. :p :D

no no, not bored, just inbetween things to do, I dread to think how much money I've been unwittingly paid to post on this forum over the years ;)

and high five mark, I'm a BBQ god too, especially building and lighting it thats also totally beyond female comprehension :p

Levi roots - "so good I named it twice!" love that stuff!

and yeah my fav is apple dipped chip wood, do you dip them in water first? I find its better for getting a decent smoked apple(or whatever flavour) taste!

should the weather ever improve I shall try that, although my bbq is in cornwall! any excuse :D
