Bad Company 2 worth a shot?

Another shameless plug here for the ~P~ Clan server :) - been a member for just over a month and a great bunch of people from over europe. Server is full up most evenings and I have seen some OCUK players on quite regularly.

 
I hated this game when I first bought it on release date as my frame rate was poor and it went untouched for months. But since upgrading recently I have been playing it non stop.
 
I have tried to get into this game, but I am terrible at it, I dont know why, Im a decent cod and bf2 player something about this game has elluded me.

Its probably a good game but I end up rage quitting all the time because I dont understand why I perform so badly. It feels like I'm wearing a giant magnet and the bullets all come flying toward me.

It gets batter give it a couple of weeks for maybe 1-2 hours a night and you'll soon get it, it'll just click. i had that same issue when i started and found that i could only really get on with the recon class, once i got the hang of the mechanics and the maps moved on to the other classes with no issues.
 
Having just upgraded, my friend insisted I get this game and boy was he right. The sights and sounds are great, also the game play is very good, and having played OFP for 9 years, this was a must.
 
Picked this up for £10 last week and I would say it is definitely worth it at that price. I've only played the singleplayer so far, but it is an improvement over the frankly awful MW2. Looking forward to getting to grips with the multiplayer.
 
I bought it recently for £12 and it is probably the best purchase ever made, the game is just fantastic, it takes few hours to understand what is going on but then it's really great. I find it difficult too as I get killed a lot and I really don't understand why but hopefully I will get better with time. There is the problem with snipers killing you a lot too but on some servers snipers are limited or not allowed at all. So find a server that suits your needs and you'll enjoy the game more.

Same story with me... bargain game, and really enjoyed the SP. Just honing my skills with it before I dive into MP...
