It happened just before the weekend.

I think there was some confusion with people still saying it would happen on the night it launched, which would have been silly given that people will be playing it all over the world at different times.

Also just thought I'd say that I think Bungie's servers might be starting to struggle now that people are getting home from work and the rest of the world is picking it up.

A matchmaking game just hung doing nothing during starting just now. Also, it takes a while for the Bungie server connection to come up.

Doesn't bode well for a bit later tonight.

Argos are giving £20 for Red Dead Redemption so £16 odd quid with the trade. Cant say Im interested in anything other than fire fight mode but the mrs will be chuffed, she loves Halo .

Who was doubting that reach looked better? I said it looks a lot worse than it's photo mode, which it does, and a select few of you weirdo's seem to have read that the wrong way somehow

Just played and beat the game in 1 sitting on legendary with a friend. We started at 9.15 and finished it at 6. Fantastic stuff.


However, as one poster pointed out earlier, there is a massive gaping chasm in graphics between single and splitscreen. The graphics are much worse in splitscreen - really liberal LoD range on pretty much everything, from textures to models.

The single player graphics pretty much rival anything else, even KZ2.
