I think chrno was one that I'd been meaning to get for ages, but kept putting it off then forgetting about it.

I'm definitely not getting any more now for a while though, as I've got some bits from Rightstuf on the way (should arrive any day), and overspent on DVD's/blu this month :)

Cosplay I think i've mentioned before, but at £3 it doesn't really matter if I don't like it:) (it's cheap enough I can practically treat it as a rental:)).

I've been watching planetes (borrowed from a friend) over the last few nights which starts off slow, but is getting better as it goes on :)

Yep, Planetes is very good.

Wish I had the money to get this figure of Mizuho Kazami (Please Teacher) but there no way I can justify it, or have space for it (let alone the money).

I think it's very much "if I win Euromillions on Friday night ...." at that price :) ... although UP are not my retailer of choice for figures as for anything other than Figmas can take absolutely ages to come (or they are not able to get it in the end). Have better luck normally using a retailer in JP directly.

FMA: Brotherhood all done, phew!!!!

Good series and rare for an anime to wrap-up nicely.

The last photo in the credits seems like a leap to a few years ahead and shows what the characters have got up to (like ed and winry getting busy ;) )

Went through Ookami-san today ... not a bad little series really. The two main characters reminded me quite strongly of the two many characters in Toradora. Episodes 11 and 12 didn't seem to go together that well for me though ...

Also watched the first OVA of Tamayura .... which was quite nice and you could tell it shared a director with A__a, and the previewing first episode of Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls which was ok but I wasn't that keen on the art style.
 
My order from Up1 arrived this morning, as did my rightstuf order (a slower one at nearly 3 weeks).

So, I'm trying to decide what to watch, I think i may start with chrno then move onto strike witches :)

Since when is anyone NOT in the mood for Pantsu?:p
on a moaning point, was looking at the main site for Toradora and they still are not releasing a remastered set to the distributors :(
Just the note about if you want to you can mail them and be put on a waiting list/queue for replacements
and even Right Stuff have no mention of this on the site ,poor customer relations on RS part I reckon.I mean they must be aware of the issue by now

Oh TRSI are definitely aware, they have mentioned it several times in postings on their facebook page. I am surprised that there isn't a note (and link to the replacement program) on the item page.

They have the information on that in the news section on the rightstuf site as well (they posted a reminder on Monday when they got news that the replacement discs will most likely be sent out at the end of September)

Yes, the postings on Facebook tend to mirror those placed in the news section on their site ... but it doesn't mean that there is any indication on the item pages themselves that there may be a problem. If someone went onto the TRSI site and searched for Toradora they would then find the product and be able to purchase it with no indication that there is a known issue with it.
 
My Beserk arrived today, have to say its got the most 'arty' discs I think out of any I've got. Put the covers on my HDDVD and Blu-ray to shame...

You can tell my physical collection is growing though. A year ago I had nothing, about 6 months ago I had Spice and Wolf (please don't die second disc) and now I've got a shelf full of them with perhaps enough room to fit one more series singles, or a couple of compilations. Spice and Wolf II needs to hurry itself along though, I really want a physical copy with subtitle tracks unlike the Japanese releases.
If I continue to pick up series randomly, and grab series I've seen I really enjoy I want to invest/put something back into, I can see me needing another shelf in the next year :(

Toradora would have been an import, but Im going to wait until they get the whole disc fiasco sorted out and release working versions!

Actually as a small side note me and another guy looking at the copies of S&WII out there noticed there seem to have been some DVD/Blu-ray edits. A HD copy he 'obtained' contained some relatively minor changes to the originally aired version that Mazui and the others fansubbed. Having seen the side by side of them now, I wish they hadn't. Most of it looks fine, but they hurt the scene at the end with the kiss, before you got to see Holo's face and the shock on it, now she's panned off screen which takes away from the scene IMO :(

Although all information available at the moment indicates that that may not be for a long time, if at all.

Finished rewatching A__a The Origination this evening (which means I need to go and crawl into a ball somewhere and cry softly) and wandered through some old Memories Off OVAs (which were amazingly bad)

I've been rewatching The Natural while i do some work. Fun to watch. Sadface indeed :(. The chibi expressions still crack me up.

I can wish for another story in the A__a universe can't i... :( Come on Amano, you know you want to write another A__a manga...

Aye, which is a real shame, I'm hoping once they've put working discs out there in the form of replacements, they'll then start issuing the fixed discs as standard.
I just see little point in ordering the series, forearmed with the knowledge it won't come as it should. Pretty shoddy really.

Seconded:( They will lose loyal fans/customers
Been finishing off my holiday with Daphne in the brilliant blue this weekend ,another oldie,Did someone say pantsu?,or lack of (as in the pants are so small they should not have bothered) in this series,:D plenty of boing too.Not much story though ,time waster with plenty of eye candy
Back to work tomorrow,man that will be tough getting up early and working outside,got a lot cooler during my vacation:(
