who knows who photofast are, but with speeds like that and a LSI chip controller onboard, awesome if it comes to market overhere, someone will be mad enough/rich enough to buy it.

They are a pretty big brand in Asia. Like OCZ most of their SSD's are Indililinx or Sandforce based.
This drive is basically what the Revodrive was originally intended to be, before they scrapped the expansion option, so it's running the full 8 Sandforce drives that the raid controller can take.
 
In reality that photofast achieves 900/750 which is far from quoted. You can't use trim so the drive slows rapidly and it's "garbage collection" ia far from ideal.

Wait a generation an it'll hopefully be a better story.
