Confused about other people

You need to give the biggest, worst offender a dig in the face.

It dosent matter that he then goes on to bash you, the point is made.

They will then move onto someone else who wont give them a dig back, to a bully, ripping a shirt every time he wants to take the **** out of someone in the inevitable fight is not worth the drama.

Take my word for it, i was one of those **** you hate in school.

This tbh.

And while most here may not agree with such an action, it is one which will work.

And then probably get suspended...

Also if that gambit doesn't pay off it will make life worse.

The suspension would be worth the risk, and can his life already get any worse than it is?

Bullies are bullies until they receive the same treatment back, you will gain the respect then.

But that gambit will work, and after the 3 day holiday / suspension, the kid can carry on with his school life, less the bully.

learn krav maga or whatever the heros use now :D love threads like this after kids have watched rocky or karate kid :p

if its one person you think its even maybe fight them if all else fails
if its a group either get own group to help like friends or avoid
if its one one person you know you cant beat other options which shouldnt be talked about :D especially with amount of police on here :)

to be honest if its school yard nabness just dont even worry and get on with things life has a lot more worse things than a teen calling you names in store

Whoever says that violence doesn't solve anything is clearly doing it wrong!

Reminds me of Ali G when he went to visit the protesters about cutting down trees.

From memory;

Ali G - "Dont you think its time that we start protecting ourselves?" (motioning a punch)

Protester - " Well, no. Violence doesnt solve anything."

Ali G - "Well.. It does."

Protester - " Not really, it doesnt."

Ali G - "Hmm, but it does."

Protestor - "Name a situation which can be solved by using violence."

Ali G - "... A violent one...."

But thats what the OP has been doing, and it doesnt work better, it doesnt work at all.

People often get bullied when they are different. be it Black, Ginger, one eyed or even - such as myself - born with a few fingers missing.

You become the target, nothing to do with the person as such, more the difference that stands out.

I endured years of bullying and abuse at the hand of kids and teachers when I was at school, and for a VERY long time, I simply put up with it.

One day, I snapped at a particular bully - who incidentally still crosses the street if he sees me! - and ended up suspended from school.

In my experience, it did not actually alter much at all, merely it got his mates backs up and my life was made even worse.

I don't know about the OP, but I eventually grew into quite a large well built person who nobody in their right mind would have a go at....

Whilst, sure, if I want to I could probably put most people on their arse if I wanted to, I like to think I'm above that.

Violence is not the answer though, no matter how much of a keyboard warrior you may be!

My advice to the OP remains the same, and in the bigger scheme of things, he'll look back - as I do - and appreciate that as he gets older, there are far more important things in life to get stressed over.

Theres plenty of ways to skin a Cat imo.... ;)

Call me stumpy :p

Your mistake is that you randomly flipped out, i learned that the best course of action is to make them flip out at you. Manipulate them and the teachers to suit your goal, your goal being to annoy that person but not get punished for it.

You have to have a plan, not just randomly flip out, you acted without thinking.

Either way you dont have to respond with violence, there are many roads to take. For example you can stash drugs in their locker, and make sure the teachers find it. They are not going to believe the "someone set me up" explanation. Or you can do a combination of things.

Anyway when i look back and i am with the few people i still talk to from secondary school, we joke about all those things we did.

Hi everyone thanks for the replies. I've read through them all carefully. It's really appreciated. I remember the thread where someone posted that they have a really low view of this community. Well, thread's like the Skywalker one, and threads such as this, showing that there is support from people, does make this forum very special :)

I think that the physical part was emphasised a bit too much. It's not really like anyone just comes up to me and randomly hits me or anything like that. It's quite difficult to explain. It's also infrequent, and a bit casual. As I said just knowing that I'm a lot weaker than the other guy is the part that is the problem. It's the feeling of helplessness and inadequacy. It's mainly the verbal abuse which I've put up with for 5 years but for some reason I'm finding myself not wanting to deal with it anymore.

Voltar- what school did you go to mate?

Here is my 2p:

Many of the posters on the forum are openly racist so I wouldn't expect too much in the way of good advice except a Send them back

Regarding the verbal and physical abuse, report it to everyone, your teacher, parents and police if necessary, action will soon follow ;)

Well in that case, man up and tell them that it upsets you.

Don't know if this has been suggested but get yourself a gun. Nobody will say anything if you're packing a gat
