*****Ultimate Football Manager 11*****

I think we've talked about this every year!

I'm well up for giving it a go. Obviously you can only do it if everyone is willing to play at least a few hours a week as you all have to be on at the same time.

I think we should keep it to a max of 4 players as well. Any more and it'll be hard to get everyone on and people will spend too long scouting and stuff

I would be really up for this. I've only ever played a network game once before and it was AWESOME.

Lets make it happen!

Oh god, they seem to have found everything that annoyed me about FM2010 and fixed/improved it. I see many late nights in November.

Hopefully the newgen improvements and the dynamic league reputations will make long term and Journeyman games more interesting. The 3D match engine desperately needed improving so all the new animations and textures will be nice to see.

Oh and here's hoping the press conference Q&A's make a little more sense in this version.

Whats the match engine like in this?

Is it 3D with decentish graphics?

I'm not much of a football follower so this would be the main reason if I did end up for some reason getting this game.

Miles Jacobsen of SI Games has said its the 5th of November. Amazon probably made the date up based on previous release dates.

Pretty good on FM10 so far. :) Have a look at the demo for FM10 if you want a clue. Or just wait for the FM11 demo. :p

Kevin Keegans player manager on snes or player manager 99 on psx. All these new manager games suck their just tables and stats with no fun gfx in em.

Don't care for 3D in the slightest,

2D has always done me, the thing i like this year is the new League Reputations and the new Contract system (far better!)

If anyone fancies a network game when it's out give me a shout, I used to run a large network game on The Dugout.

Look forward to wasting hours upon hours again ;D

And don't steam usually have a special priced pre-order, which you usually get the game the night before release?

Allways a fan of the good old ticker myself. Back in the day, the ultimate soccer managers, premier managers and fifa's that used match engines, became predictable and boring to watch after a few games, when you knew what was going to go in, and lead to nothing, due to the limited set routines.

In all honesty fm was the first one to get it right, it kept that same 'suspense' element of the ticker. 09's engine was limited in it's animations, but 10's was pretty much super magic.. if their somehow improving it futher, can only be a good thing:)
