Had to drive to Manchester and back on Friday to drop some stuff off for work. On the way back I stopped at some services on the M6 for lunch. On the way out I noticed a couple of cars in front of me almost on the slip road to rejoin the M6 going rather slowly and braking, so I hang back a bit hoping they'll be gone so I can get a good run up.
I figure I've given them enough time and start to accelerate round the bend, only to see that they have stopped and are waiting to join the motorway. There are now 3 of us stopped on the slip road. I didn't want to attempt to join the motorway in case one of them tried at the same time so had to wait.
By the time we got onto the motorway I had a quick look over at the first car and noticed that it was an old man who seemed oblivious to what he had just done.
What would you lot have done? Waited or attempted to join the motorway and hope that neither of the other cars tried at the same time?
