Confused about other people

You have to have a plan, not just randomly flip out, you acted without thinking.

Either way you dont have to respond with violence, there are many roads to take. For example you can stash drugs in their locker, and make sure the teachers find it. They are not going to believe the "someone set me up" explanation. Or you can do a combination of things.

Anyway when i look back and i am with the few people i still talk to from secondary school, we joke about all those things we did.

I used to get bullied at school, dunno why, I was no different to them, I was usually quiet too. Did not make sense. My mum said it was because they were jealous of me, but I did not think that was true, as I there was nothing about me that people would be jealous about. I think school messed me up, I struggle to get to know people and am usually quite shy now and my confidence is awful, I am not confident about anything, I think I'm going to fail at uni and my hobbies like cycling yet people tell me the opposite.

OP, man up, do some regular workout, bulk up on whatever illegal substances you have to use to achieve the best results, kick their asses.

Change the school. Bullying is childlish, IRL trolling is usually considered a bad thing tbf.
 
You're isolated. It's always easier to pick on a loner than someone who has support. You can't be the only kid being picked on at school. A friend or friends would go a long way to providing some safety and mutual assurance as you get through this *****y period. I'm not suggesting a Revenge of the Nerds style scenario, but at least you'd be able to have some people to relate to.
 
I took six months of mental abuse before I took things back into control. It was a learning curve for me, should have spoken long before, now I know I would. So my advice is to address it by talking to someone. If things get way out of hand, e.g. you are on the receiving end of physical bullying, then stick up for yourself. What's the worst that can happen? A black eye? It'll go and they'll be less likely to bother you again.

I had a few bullying issues at school until one day I snapped and destroyed this kid. After that had no issues.

But as you say above this is the truest statement in thus thread. It may differ from school to school and area to area but from I was from (bit the nicest school by a mile) being "cool" was simply how "hard" you were. Nothing else. Now the only time I have ever heard of the "cool" kids from my old school is in the local papers court round up. There is a hell of a lot more important things to worry about than being cool. Just find your group of friends and enjoy life, it's hard at younger ages but just let the opinions of others just slide by, especially if they are nit a friend.

Worth doing, especially if you are beyond your teenage years, yet the teenage mentality interests / bamboozles you. It takes little more than a Sunday and a commute to read :D

I don't think he was one dimensional or depressed and am yet to find someone who doesn't empathise with him on some level, although he is an extreme case; this is of course my take, and respect that you may disagree.

Yes I absolutely 100% emphasise with him. In some ways I am in fact Holden Caulfield.

But, it's almost a given that he was suffering from depression. He's always going on about how he hates everybody. He has moments of anger in the book. He also ocassionally starts crying for no apparent reason. There are moments in the book where he is praying to Allie. He has several psychotic breakdowns, including the most severe one, the moment of gestaut at the end of the book.

Also, if you re-read the first page, he's currently in some sort of therapy or something.
