Air superiority seems pretty key. If you dont have that you will lose your ground units fast.
Personally I like to get enough GIs/anti tank in place to defend my base and expansion and then try and build up a massive fighter/fighter bomber force and take out the enemy wherever they pop up.
I am looking forward to reading other strategies when people start to mention this game more.

interesting comment, on the whole I think the controls work very well, my only issue is when you have massed your units and are trying to get a particular type
I found the SP campaign ok and at times fun, the big big problem I have is a historical one, they've got the Archer driving in the wrong ******* direction!!!!!! ffs the gun was mounted facing backwards over the engine even wikipedia can tell them that![]()

and the germans had next to no resources in 1945, come to think of it the italians had quit by then to,it's a game
The resources issue are a result of a What if? scenario. The direction a vehicle drives in is an immutable fact, sod it why don't Rockstar have all the cars in GTA go sideways since it's only a game![]()
Thinking of buying this as it's 50% on steam today at £14.99
Wanted it on release day but did not want to pay full price.
I enjoyed the demo & downloading the demo again now to get a refresh so....
