"Hardly anyone plays fps on the pc"

The only reason I even know about Halo is that I got annoyed by 12 year olds thinking it was the first FPS ever made.

It's called "Ease of Access". Consoles are cheap to buy, but the costs add up quickly with controllers + more expensive games. It's all about appearance.

Only good things about consoles are easy playing things like platforms/racing games and the no hassle "the game just works". I hardly ever touch my 360, the gaming experience just doesn't interest me as an in-depth PC game. Just my opinion though :-)

Halo is total rubbish anyway all of them are pure junk. Halo1 was looking good on PC in 2000 when 3DFX was going to launch it on V5500 series. MS bought it and made it an Xbox title so it took 3 years to come out on PC by which time it was dated & a bad joke.

Having owned a PS3 (which I sold) & an X360 since launch (which I still have but buy few games for it now only 360 exclusive which are good & will never make it to the PC like DR Case Zero) I can see the PC making yet another strong comeback as anyone who has had a 360 for a little while will quickly realise how poor it is being stuck on 5 year old gfx & hampered with so few quality games. Most are Unreal 3 based anyway & boy do they look dated nowadays.

LMAO thats like saying "hardly any one uses windows anymore" Im pretty sure Strats and fps are the most played games on pc!

He means compared to the number of people playing FPS games on a console. He is correct.

I loved the original Halo. I didn't have a great PC at the time so that's partly why. But mainly it was the splitscreen and link up multiplayer. Some of my favourite times as a gamer! :D

Have completed them all except the new one and they've got gradually less and less fun for me. Only continue to play them so I can do splitscreen co-op with my nephew whom I babysit often.
