Inbetweeners - Season 3

I don't know if it was me being a bit tired and watching this in bed on E4+1 but I thought the episode was a bit meh.

The concept was good and it was an amusing watch but I don't think I lol'd once. The whole weed thing was way OTT, especially with Will and his reaction. It was cringe worthy but really obviously so. In the first and parts of second series it was a little more subtle which made it better, imo.

Also, I might start blocking people on Facebook due to this show. The amount of people who feel they have to comment or quote from each episode is starting to grind my gears.

I have a feeling the show is going to remain constantly like this for me now, amusing to watch with the odd lol, but overall a little over hyped and over the top.
 
Apart from Wills bit with the arm waving I thought the rest was atleast as good as anything else from any of the other series.

People expect too much from it now.

The Will character has run it's course, they could shed him easily from it now.

I have to agree, while last nights episode was still very funny for me the whole thing was far too obvious. I hope it doesn't go down the road of Skins and simply resort to churning out gags and losing the realism of the setting which made it funny in the first place.
 
Will is what makes the difference between Little Brittain and this, without his lines it would be fodder aimed at people with 2 brain cells.
 
I don't find him funny anymore, he's just being turned into a young David Brent. How many times do they have to keep bringing up the poo'd yourself in the exams and bringing back that same girl to keep knocking him back.

He's just cringey in an obvious and unclever way.
 
Yeah, the Will character was rubbish lastnight, the whole drugs thing just didn't work very well in the end. It used to be like Grange Hill for adults, now its getting almost slap-stick.

Come on, if you found out someone you know opened the brown valve in an exam, you'd never let them live it down!
 
I thought the drugs story was working well, just ruined by wills character. Uncontrollable arm movements, I can understand having him freak out but it was a bit stupid and not funny stupid.

The only reason to keep him in the show now is his mum.
 
What surprised me was the fact that people stood gormlessly while Will took the mike and spouted random crap, if that was ANY pub and someone did that, then people in the crowd would be in stitches!
 
Was watching this with my parents last night, I was facepalming during Will's 'arm scene', so lame.

The rest of the episode was a complete hit though :D
