Pics look good, though I am still facepalming over this.

I only live a mile away. Not been here too long and not really looked at these type of events before so had no idea it was being held so close. I go the the racing all the time there. :rolleyes:

I should have popped down for an afternoon if anything and had a couple of beers with you chaps.

Might have to talk my clan into doing this next time, I have a few who I know would be keen. :)
 
at the end of the day, we all payed our £75 for 5 days of gaming. We had a fantastic time and a great laugh, So much of a laugh in fact that at one point i had severe chest pains from laughing so hard for about 45 minutes non stop.

Out of the 5 days I personally probably spent a total of around 20 hours playing games. The rest of the time was spent socialising, drinking, sleeping, playing football (badly).

Where else can you go for five days at such little cost with ya mates and have a fantastic time.

Yes the tables look pants but they do a job and thats to hold ya monitor and pizza boxes, you arent sitting down to a meal at the hilton its literaly just there to stack ya stuff on and play. Hell they were strong enough for me to sit on so its all good :D

The windows are sheeted up to keep the light out, we were sat in the main grandstand and it gets the sun pretty much all day so if the sheets weren't up then you would be able to see nothing on ya screens. The walls are made of glass so its not like an odd window or two its all the way along.

Oh and was it you order that spotted us in the lift on the first day and went "TFU??" just as teh doors shut? sorry we werent more sociable but we didnt realise who it was >,<
 
Nothing wrong with hitting a LAN up. Beer, food and a few mates..... what's there to not like about it? Apart from the sleeping on floor/smell situation.

Mate this the OCUK community.... they'd find something wrong with heaven!!!

But yeah as you said... altho i was pretty clean and smelled fresh most of the time... the showers were pretty good!

That said such a good weekend, we've allready got loads of names down and people wanting to go again:

I went to one in eindhoven (live in Brussels) with a clanmate from Kronos1 (old MOHAA clan) in the days of COD. It was fantastic only thing was the wife was heavily pregnant so I couldn't say overnight such a shame to have to leave as things were just hotting up (indoor footie compos to win decent prizes and it was very well sponsored.)
