Sorry to rain on your parade but it can be got for £12.95 :p

I paid £15 for my copy too.... Picked it up in a games store, some shops have it for £19 etc... He still got it for a decent price.

either way its a good game for the price. I'm just about to see about left handed playing... Controllers are recharged lol

Where (if you can say) and do I need a Move and a Navi controller to play/enjoy this? Also is there 2 versions out there now? 1 with downloadable Move support and 1 without?

Never played Resi 5 to completion and traded it in early so may possibly buy this, if I buckle and buy a Move controller.

I am still waiting for my £9.99 copy to arrive. :) The charger for the controllers is really solidly built and thankfully comes with a power adaptor rather that stealing a prescious USB.

@iv-tecman - thanks in advance for checking. Us lefties will take over the world one day!

just playing Resident Evil 5 move edition, can't see any option for left handed, but I'm playing right handed.... No reason why you can't use it left handed, just seems like the onscreen doesn't change to reflect this... Doubt it matters too much, I tried it both left and right handed, worked fine.

Unless i've missed an option somewhere.. lol i'm lucky in that I can use both my left and right hand for most stuff.. Unless its writing or bowling..:D

I was more announcing that I bought than the price :) Is there a way to strafe? :)

Not played any od the RE series since the first on PSOne, so quite out of the loop as far as the story is concerned though :(

not worked that out either... Resident Evil 5 is a very hard game to play, i've not even got past the first part with the huge guy with the axe, graphics are amazing, i'm sure I'll get it figured out.. Least the game is no push over. lol

move controls are decent enough, just remember to select the select button the move controller to calibrate. I didn't at first and the aim was well off..

I think this is pretty impressive -
Bungie's sci-fi series swansong, Halo: Reach, is at the top of the UK Video Game Charts this week.

That much is no surprise, given its huge marketing push and the fact that it's really rather good, isn't it? The prequel stands as Microsoft's biggest ever launch week and the fifth biggest UK launch ever. Outselling Halo 3's launch by 20,000 units (and Halo 3: ODST's by nearly 200,000) is quite the feat, though.

What is surprising is what's immediately below Halo: Reach. Sony's Sports Champions, essentially the PlayStation Move's answer to Wii Sports, has claimed the #2 spot, pushing Mafia II down to #3.

Just a quick question, I've seen a lot of people saying Move is much more accurate than the Wii, is this taking into account the motion plus attachment on the Wii?

Tempted to pick up Move for the kids but really not sure it's worth it as they have a Wii there already with a ton of games. Maybe worth just selling the Wii and getting Move for the PS3? :p

how old are the kids?

I've seen a slew of people with the motion plus and the move and all so far have said the move is more accurate. If they are in the 3-10 range then pick up a starter pack and Start the Party and see how it goes.

4 and 7, to be honest the Wii gets very little play time anyway. Might look around for deals on the starter pack and go from there.

I'd just get it for yourself, my 4 and 6 year old have gone back to the Wii, despite it looking like it's for kids, Start the Party is a party game, not really something the kids actually enjoyed, and The shoot was OK for both of them for about 5 mins, but they got bored/fed up as soon as it relied on more complex stuff being done..

I've been slowly warming to some of the Sports Champions (the only full game I bough), and ordered another wand, it's great to play when your mates pop over, and Tumble has been quite addictive, so I bought that too!..

Anyone playing resident evil 5, how the heck do you look up and down whilst walking?

Also, am I being really thick but how the heck do you move whilst shooting? And, how do you knock stuff over? the manual for this game has controls printed for the DS3 pad, and even then I can't work out how to run and shoot...

don't tell me once you aim you can't move? Thats stupid.. lol

^^thats always been the case with res games no? the whole point is that you aim and can turn but cant move.

just been searching with google, it is indeed a resident evil thing. Meant to make the game more intense.. Well, erm it works. I thought this was a reboot of the series and more FPS then scary game, guess not...

Spent the last 10 mins trying move and standard DS3 pad, and neither allows for shooting and moving, once you aim, you're froze to the spot... Ooo I can see a few rage quits on this one.

Its not a reboot..

I take it you've never played a Resi game before? You have never been able to move and shoot.

Its just the design of the game. Only Resident Evil can get away with it.

Played Resident Evil 1 on the PS1 back in 1994. :o Haven't played any since, only got this as it was move enabled.

After struggling really hard with first big baddie - guy with the axe I've now got a move on (no pun intended) and i'm progressing nicely and enjoying it.

My feet and legs are getting sore, so i'm going to see if you can play this sitting down... lol

Lack of sidestepping is annoying though. Hate having to turn to move everywhere. Don't mind having to stop whilst aiming, but would be nice to sidestep :)
