Its bad enough being filmed / photographed by the "Stobart Spotters" that appear out of nowhere, camera in hand.
I personally come to work to drive my truck, not help in a TV show.
If there was a fat apperance fee, I'm sure I'd reconsider.....

So you wouldn't consider retraining as an Ice Road Trucker?
I don't see the need, if I wanted to earn big money driving HGV's I'd simply drive in a warzone supplying troops, a few mates do this and the money is incredible - so are the risks....
That said, I could so easily get killed driving along the M6 tonight were I to have an accident, all for circa £8 per hour.

He boviously lives out in the sticks and probably doesn't see many stobart trucks, but it is common knowledge in these parts

On another note, how would an accident like that occur? Just swerving to avoid or.....
Violent swerve, a blowout on the steering axle, an air line splitting (causing the brakes to lock on the trailer) suspension failure, gust of wind etc etc etc
There are numerous things that can cause an artic to jack-knife.
As for the truck names, I know my trucks fleet number but I keep forgetting its name and I cba to get out & have a look!
+ probably the most common cause, seriously skilled driver videoing with his mobile phone whilst attempting to steer a 44 tonne monster!!

Presume he was insinuating the guy that crashed was filming something, hence why he crashed...
Not that he thought the guy who's video it is crashed after....
