Codemasters F1 2010 X360/PS3 (contains important question about 2011 game!!!)

well i managed to stay on the track to get i think it 2.03 mins for singapore :D its tough on the hands aint it.

Bit that screws me up is some hard chicane (3 turns? i dno) where its easy to go off the track and threby invalidate the lap.


guys can you all add your psns? (ps3) version. You can do ghost car friend time attack mode. i need to improve :D

I dont have tyre wear on yet, I take it I can then run on the better tyre for longer even though it suggests 4 laps?

12th position for my second race despite getting a 5 place penalty in quallies for blocking. Managed a 1.36(career lotus) around melbourne in the race with no aids, god I'm struggling but destroying jarno which is what matters.

I sooo want this game... I didn't realise it had all that detail in there (blocking, blue flags etc).

We will have to confirm some settings but other than that its open for those that want to get cracking on with this weekends Singapore TT.

I already ruled myself out of bothering when I saw the lap times being posted earlier. I'm about 5 seconds off worrying about competing :D
 
So any advice on car setup for catalunya? I thought I'd do better in the race but I'm dead last and I'm playing my best! Last race I came 11th now I'm 24th, it makes no sense. The only thing I can think of is my Lotus isn't set up right.

Any help please?
 
Argh!! Well that sucks. It's not my driving that sucks, it's my car. I just can't seem to set it up correctly. I just blasted a 1:23 in a mclaren round Catalunya yet my Lotus in Career can't even get 1:29....meh!

Get a sturdy desk or get a wheelstand pro...£100 all in for something that you can later fold away for easy storage...best £100 i spent for my 360 wireless wheel and i can now play racing games properly whereas before it was all done via the controller pad.

I know the bit you mean. 3rd gear the first two bits, starting the chicane from the right side of the track then 2nd gear the last bit. Took me all night last night to master that with my DFP on the PC. I was sweating, but was running consistent 2:02 in the HRT by the end of it :)
