Where am I?

Greenwich ferry? Close...... to my knowledge, its known as Woolwich. ;)

07:00 this morning. I was right at the front.

Stupid me... why I called it the Greenwich Ferry I don't know as I've used the Woolwich Ferry so many times. I'm guessing the Blackwell is still shut during the night on weekends?

Northbound it - Blackwall - has a 13' 3" height limit, my trailer yesterday was 14' 11"......

So how high do the winds need to get before you are banned from the Woolwich Ferry? I'm guessing in high winds the ferry is stopped anyway.

How high do winds need to get before you pull over as it is too dangerous to drive?

I have never known the ferry to not run due to high wind - sometimes the Humber Bridge and Dartford bridges (QEII) are shut sue to high winds.

You usually have an idea its a bit bad when you see your trailer lifting in your mirrors!
