You may as well go for it if you think you can sell if for a profit. Servicing will be very expensive, as will insurance. When I was looking for a new car a did an insurance quote for one more out of curiosity more than anything else. The best quote I got was £27k lol (I had only been driving 2 years at the time). Needless to say I didn't buy one.

Obviously I would look at the car before you buy it. Many of the older ones I have seen do have a tendency to rust on the rear wheel arches.

No time to go and see it im buying it blind, he who dares wins!

Sale is in Manchester.

400bhp V8 :D

Interesting, I had a look at these and the later Gransports a few months back. I think they look stunning.

Apparently you want one with the Skyhook active suspension system which makes a big difference - "This system automatically adjusts the stiffness of the suspension according to different road and driving conditions for improved ride comfort and more dynamic sport handling"

Servicing and parts seem well steep, but then I'm sure you know this.

Get some pics up if you get it.

Its got skyhook.

I trust my mate thats described the car to me, if i nab it il get the pics up soon as its back tomorrow on the low loader :)

do it, boring car with crappy rear lights but a fun enough engine and if its at a throw away price, use abuse and make a few pennies, win win win

I liked the boomerang 3200 rear lights, they should have left them.

Got it £9900 2004 54 plate :)

It even starts and drives im told :)

Do it, by knockdown price i am going to assume 4 figures.

If i am right, then do it. Fantastic engine and a lot of fun, you will still have a profit in selling it on well below market value.

Win win all round. I have been eyeing these up myself for a good while as a potential alternative to the predictable but ever reliable porsche.
