FORMER members of the US Air Force claim aliens interfered with nuclear weapons - including during one famous incident in Britain.

UFO researcher Robert Hastings held a press conference in Washington to "address the vital issue of UFO incursions at US nuclear weapons sites over the past six decades".

Mr Hastings said: "More than 100 former or retired US Air Force personnel - once trusted to operate or guard weapons of mass destruction - have come forward and revealed ongoing UFO surveillance of, and occasional interference with, our nuclear weapons.

"This information alters the historical perspective on the nuclear arms race and much, much more.

"The fact that the Pentagon and CIA have successfully kept the truth from public view for so long is in itself mind-boggling."

Is everyone in the video lying, whacky or both? :D

Not really, I think if they've the technology for e.g. warp speeds and interstellar travel then paltry nukes would probably be of little interest of them. They probably have more powerful pew pew pew weapons and sheilds and ****.

Funny how this was in the papers this morning as if it was new news. These stories have been well documented for years thanks to Robert Salas and others.

UFO's are certainlyt real but I'm not sure I fully believe the alien explanation...

It's in the news now because the conference in the video was held yesterday.

I remember that. They used to land in the back garden and mum would go into their space ship and come back with a plate of mash. She once told me my dad was one of them. It’s all just come back to me so I thought I would share this with you.

Our most powerful weapon is our nuclear bombs so it would make sense for the Aliens to want to know how to de-activate them when they attack

Tend to agree, I doubt aliens capable of interstellar travel would be terribly concerned about nukes. I imagine for them it would be as worrying as an ant throwing a spec of dirt at us.

Maybe they're just interested in our weapon technologies - it would make sense for them to assess the threat level generated by our most powerful weapons after all.

Some of these testimonies are quite compelling; particularly the one of the former US colonel (second speaker I think) who was involved in the Rendlesham Forest incident.

These are still far from concrete proof, but I find testimonies like these - considered and reasoned first-hand accounts from people with little or no reason to lie - to be far more persuasive than any amount of illogical jabbering from your average tinfoil conspiracy nut, or low-resolution shaky-cam footage.

I can't say I'm exactly 100% convinced, but I think these people have at least earned the right to be taken seriously. Unfortunately, the whole "alien visitation" idea has attracted a large enough group of outright crazies (abovetopsecret anyone?) that anybody who has sensible first-hand information is automatically discarded as a bit of a nutter. Conspiracy theorists are often their own worst enemies.

People seem to think that because they are capable of one thing it doesn't mean that they are all powerful and everything they have is better then our own.

They might live in a peaceful society where they had no need to make weapons , and the whole idea of killing each other is "alien" to them so it makes sense to checkout our most powerful weapons.

Doesn't surprise me. If Aliens do exist (and I'm sure they do... somewhere), then it would make sense that our nuclear arsenals would be of interest to them.

Why would it?

If you've perfected reliable interstellar travel in anything but a generational ark ship nuclear weapons would be like a child's catapult to you.
