Just how big is ocuk's warehouse

I was at OCUK yesterday buying a sound card and the assistant said he would go and get it himself from the warehouse.
I thought it strange when he came back 30 minutes later with hiking boots on and walking sticks.

I didn't need the card in the end and wasted £37 :(

That's nothing. I went in once and the guy behind the counter asked if I had any shotgun shells before finding some ball bearings and then he disappeared into the back. I never saw him again and went home when the shop closed.

Some guy stepped out of an unmarked side door in Cambridge last week, carrying a bunch of computer components. He did look a bit confused and just went back inside after a few seconds muttering something about Stoke...

You can cop a look at the warehouse from the front on Google maps.

Would I get a slap for putting a screenshot of it up? :)

Maybe they built it on a cold war bunker site? Ace Modder might live at the bottom of a 40 storey lift shaft.

Actually that's a daft idea...if they'd got him down there then they'd never have let him come back up :D.

spie or someone posted a pic from the front ages ago when they anounced they were moving to a bigger warehouse so i'd imagine its fine for you to post it

It must be huge as in my case they could never find the b grade full tower i ordered. even though it spent three weeks in stock after i was told it couldn't found.

If my googling skills are correct then this will be the warehouse.

It seems to be the correct unit from the address off the website.

I saw Amazons warehouse on the news around last christmas time I think.

It was insanely big. And all of their systems were incredibly accurate and impressive.

They have branches out into web services, I actually use AWS and their cloud service :)

One thing that confuses me about OCuk is that most times I order something it hasnt come on the arranged date even when I choose "in stock" products. Ive had this a few times and a few work colleagues have had this. Not bashing but it puts me off order OCuk as the stock system appears to have a mind of its own.

I wonder what happened to the customer service operative? As things like that just dont get said down the phone.

Newegg a while back did a peice on there warehouse etc and it was mighty impressive.
