Whereas he clearly doesn't. Screw him I say. If he's selfish enough to choose such an annoying area to end himself, I'm selfish enough to find it annoying.

I wonder why they don't get one of those massive inflatey things and put it underneath him. Tbh it doesn't look high enough to kill him without any traffic.
 
Must be something in the air. The A40 (Golden valley bypass) by me was closed not more than about two days ago due to someone on the bridge... then he ran out into the traffic instead... Brown bread. :(

Ambulance turns up to attend the mess and a woman driver plows into the ambulance.
FAIL
Queue the A40 being shut all morning. :rolleyes:

Its not really a question of valuing human life over getting to work on time - even if he did want to kill himself that in itself isn't what people are getting angry about. Rather than doing it somewhere else he's gone into public to do - it is incredibly selfish.

Not just holding up traffic but blocking roads but also wasting the time of the emergency services and potentially causing a lot of stress for the people who try to talk him down should he actually go through with it and kill himself. In reality its not even a real attempt to kill himself rather a big public cry for help which has simply held a whole bunch of people up all because some stuff hasn't gone right in that guy's life.
 
This has got to be a bad joke.

There's no way they'd ever call a place in Birmingham Paradise Circus.

And quite rightly!.

To speculate that it was some type of outcry, that he had no intention of going ahead with it etc, imo it's just lazy conjecture. Who knows what was going on in his head!. It was enough to stand a man on a the edge of a bridge for 29 hours..

if you want to kill your self you do it, if you want attention you make it look like you want to.

maybe he just lost his job , his house , his car , his wife , etc and doesnt know what to do so instead of trying for weeks to get any help from the goverment he dails 999, stands on a bridge for a day and then as if by magic spends a few weeks beeing evaluated before jumping the housing queue , probably beeing helped more than anyone else into a job etc.

maybe a bit far fecteched but he obviously didnt want to die

I don't have a soul, neither does anyone in my opinion... A sense of decency or some compassion maybe, but a soul? Nah.

If someone really wanted to end their life, they could have done it, quietly, efficiently. Instead, this person picked a busy area and caused massive disruption to everyday people and in the end, didn't seal the deal.

If someone's wants to cut their life short, when so many are dying of poor health and old age, then **** them.
Maybe we can get lucky and they'll have a donor card. Can be of some use that way. :)

Some of us have actually suffered with immediate family taking their own lives.

Bit of respect for these people please :mad: keep the comments to yourself.
