I hate this game I really do.. I have tried all day to come around but its boring.. I haven't seen any decent goals scored.

The shooting is sporadic, the movement of players is late and lazy and the overall feel of the game is just not right.

I suppose it is a case of taste, but I should have realised when I played the demo that I was not going to like it..

Going to buy FIFA 11 on the PC which is FIFA 10 & WC2010 combined.. it feels so much more balanced.

Thankfully I never registered it to me, just done the 7 day trial on my accounts...anyhow... Im out of this thread now as I will have nothing to add.. hopefully Fifa 12 on the PS3 is a better game.

fifa 11 on pc dreadful feels too fast and all floaty arcadey
 
Just played a couple of games of this on the 360, won 2 lost 3. I have never played fifa 10 and came straight from 09. At the moment im really struggling to even get close to the oppositions goal, yet they run through mine like butter. Is this normal as a learning curve ? Right now its not much fun to me compared to 09 where i have won 400 and lost 64 :S
 
Just noticed that Schweinsteiger has the "Complete Midfielder" Specialty. Are there any other players that have this and are there other types such as Complete forward and/or Complete defender?
 
Just played mine is this some sort of joke ? the graphics gameplay even the celebrations aren't anywhere near as good as world cup 2010 wtf is going on ?
I am to say the least totally shocked at how bad this is wc 2010 is so much better than this it's laughable

I'll try and stick with it for the 7 day free pass but this looks like it's getting sold glad i hung on to wc2010 I advise anyone thinking of buying this to buy that instead it's so much better it's not even funny

FIFA 11 is far better than the World Cup game, its just different. Give it time.
 
It's worse on every level and lol at the crowd graphics feel like i've gone back in time 5 years.

Seems the only way to score is a cutback tap in, i'll give it 7 days glad i didn't rush in to using my full pass yet.

Think i'll be playing wc 2010 tonight though this is just nowhere near as good graphically or gameplay wise.

I cant even run with my player to do celebrations ?

You seem to have judged it very quickly and very harshly.

It is not a walk in the park to break down defences anymore and you cant just burst past people with fast players like you have been able to in the past.

Its more like a sim than FIFA10 and the WC game, either give it time, or give up. Its up to you, but you will be missing out in the long run.

The passing is better, ball control and dribbling is better, shooting is better, goalkeepers react better, the ball physics are better, players are easier to distinguish between and have unique playing styles and actual strengths/weaknesses for a change. It's all good.

dude, they have made it harder to score, it was far too easy on fifa 10, i easily beat people 6-0 in the first half, which isnt realistic. the highest scoring game on this ive had is 3-2.

ive played 5 online ranked matches - won all of them.

played 1 unranked match, went 2-0 up within a couple of minutes and the guy quit.

they have made it much harder to get past a player - which is what its like in real life.

they have now made the game all about passing, and using the TEAM to beat the other TEAM rather than just 1 or 2 players.

this has got to be almost perfect, the only gripe i have with it is, i have already found a specific area of the box in which it is far too easy to score from, im not going to give it away, as it would ruin the game.

penalties - harder
shooting - harder
going past players - harder
stamina/fatigue - works like real life
passing - harder and life like too (pass to hard and the player struggles to control the ball, pass too soft and he has to wait for the ball to reach him)

looks like fifa are continuing to build on their success.

the major gripe is that you only get 30 seconds to make changes to your team when playing online. bayern munchen have 2 crap defenders playing, robben and gomez on the bench and not the right formation for me. same for other teams too, ferdinand on bench for man utd, etc.

is there any way to save your team/formation so it auto loads for all online games?

What level are you playing it on? I found anything below worldclass was way too easy to score. Maybe you just arent very good at it :p

the passing is not slower, they have fixed it, before it didnt matter what you did you made a perfect pass every time no matter what player you were using, without needing to control the ball. press x down for 5 seconds and see if its faster or slower.
 
Okay i like it now you are right robbo it's just an initial shock but it's much like wc2010 only you have to think more I think because I went straight to online maybe there was a lag issue there and it was raining which made it feel worse.

Liking it now am used to it although i still feel wc 2010 presentation is better

anyone figured out the chants stuff for ps3 ? there's chant packs on ea forum http://forum.ea.com/uk/posts/list/4401.page

so you copy them to a usb stick so do i want all chants in their own induvidual folders team a - z

or do i need all chants not in a folder ? so i have figured out how to get them in game but do you need to do each team individually ?

What ports do I need to open to get rid of my "restrictive" firewall status? Do all Xbox live games use the same ports?
