Hi guys I recently purchased my Q6600 G0 from MM and I am very pleased with it. I am currently running [email protected] (stock speed). However I have a question regarding the Cores temps difference.
Cpu Idle:
Core0 35C
Core1 34C
Core2 27C
Core3 33C
Cpu Load (Prime 95):
Core0 52C
Core1 50C
Core2 47C
Core3 48C
Core2 seems to be the odd one out especially at idle. Is this normal? Btw I used Arctic Silver 5 to apply 'horizontal line method' as stated on AS website and my current cpu cooler is Thermaltake Big Typhoon. Can you also please suggest a very good modern air cooler which would enable me to reach 3.4Ghz easily. The VID reported in bios and coretemp is 1.2625V.
Many thanks
