**** i hope so, so many council house saddos in scotland, "i've hard a hard life etc" when they don't know the meaning of a hard life, i am thinking the obvious london, but please tell me else where for a peaceful life! The best road in scotland is the road out to england or something like that??

Fully star out swear words!

Come and live here and you will know "what", so many plastic hardmen who think they have had a hard life and think if you have an ounce if ambition then you are an enemy of the country. And then some of them either start singing, "god save the queen", or "up the ra".!!

Peacfull life, to me that would be out in the sticks, growing most of my own stuff. Farmers markets. Good village community and a local pub. So not London. Of course that usually needs a fair bit of money to live in such places.

Well i have two degrees and plenty of experiences and ambition so i think i will be ok.

Hmm, chill pill?

There's council estates everywhere and they aren't all as bad as you make out.

Yes, I hate this country and the fake tanned, mindless inbreeds which epitomise it but unless you've got the cash to move somewhere special, I'm afraid you'll have to deal with it like the rest of us.

Where do you live in Scotland?

Maybe just try a different area.

Wow i hate jambos, and no i am not a celtic/hibs person, just hate jambos with their, "i love the queen" bull**** when in reality they are the lowests forms of life you could ever meet and live in gettos like gorgie!

Gorgie, not far from me!

my area is a dump too however. Im stuck with broomhouse and sighthill and westerhails

Its just as bad in parts of England... tho you might find Bristol or somewhere like that a bit less stressful for long term living than London.

If you want the peaceful life the countryside or small towns will do but if and somewhere to get up and go then London or large cities are for you. As pointed out city life can be expensive and it can also be lonely. We still have rough areas like you do. You have a beautiful country so why don’t you just move to somewhere else in Scotland?

Ha ha. Well I am not a Hearts supporter. My name is nothing to do with Hearts or Edinburgh.

Where are you from?

It isn't any different down south either.

I am from central and i do love the queen as a matter of fact but not in the sense to use it against another group, i am just having a rant, i love scotland deep down, shouldn't say bad thing, just a rant, forgive me!!

Here we go again.... im sure you have posted a few threads like this before.

Always with no context just describing Scotland as a slum and all scots as scum.

Grow up, open your eyes. Poverty is not just isolated to Scotland, its spread all over the UK. And the world!

Get a ******* grip!
