Wow, tiny number of them! Phoenix Yellow and LS Blue were special colours for the S54.

LSB is nice.

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2096609.htm Shame about the interior choice!

One thing to note though is that the S54 M Coupe is rev limited to 7,000rpm so doesn't make the full 343bhp that it does in the e46 M3 (It made 325bhp). It also never had the S54 recall done for the bottom end bearing shells, although this shouldn't be an issue with the lower rev limit.

IIRC it was something to do with not being able to fit the same exhaust manifold/exhaust system as the e46 due to packaging issues.

I believe it has been an issue for several s54 drivers. IIRC they have been able to argue with BMW it should have been recalled too.

Hmmm shouldnt those Style 32's be staggered?

I can't tell if they are 16" or 17", if 16", no. If 17", quite possibly if they were standard according to this page. There are a lot of none staggered style 32s about in 17" though, in fact I've only seen the staggered ones for sale from e39s.

Nice, that's quite cool. I didn't even realise they did a non m coupe.

Black door handles of fail though

They looked ok in M form, low and wide, 4 pipes and all that. This though, I can see why they didn't even bother to offer them for sale over here.

16,000 is quite a lot - it's 3 times more than the total UK sales of 530i Sports :p
Why compare the entire range to a single model, or indeed a trim level?
There are only 3,853 Z3 3.0 Coupes, which is a damn sight less than the UK sales of 530i Sports, let alone world sales :p

That'll be the source of my confusion then, on the E39 the rears are noticeably more dished :)
They are staggered, the tyre profiles are different. The fitment is different on the Z3 though, so perhaps that's why the dish isn't as deep?

I'm tempted to fit an Eisenmann if I can justify the cost, quad pipes might be a bit lame on a non-M though.
Even if I just get twin pipes, it's still a slippery slope of mods :o

What have you done to the Vole?
Nothing. I've no intention of getting rid just yet as I'd rather stack that in winter than the Z3 :p
That, and I'm moving to Brussels soon which means street parking..

4500 530i Sport's - a model which was predominantly UK market only (For reasons I still dont quite understand) :p

I swear the UK is the only country where Sports outnumber SEs.
Proper M Sports are very rare over here, even in Germany.

Either way, there are fewer of mine worldwide. So I win :D

Well I say mine, it's still not bloody ready yet.
And it better have a CD changer cartridge and some mats when I get there.
They said they'd polish out some scratches and stone chips too, but car salesmen are the same everywhere..
