gf broke up with me, how do i get the pain away ?

I would be going round to see her and have it out, so you can have some kind of closure.

My first question to her, would be "what is his name?!" ;)

Because, lets face it, you didn't see this coming, so you can hardly say, you know for a fact there isn't some one else.

Move on

Find another woman, split up in xx months time, repeat until the right woman comes, get married, have kids, wish you never got married etc. etc. :)

Arguining is good, it needs to be done for a relationship to work.

I was going with a girl, we never argued always got on. Well she always agreed and it got boring, so did the sex and got too comfy.

The second relationship (only really been in two) we argued now and then, it lasted longer we had a more exciting sex life and it spiced things up. The break up, was much harder though.

I always use the good old saying

"The easiest way to get over one girl is to get under another"

why does her have a BF mean she cant have girly nights?

girly nights are about having a good time not having sex with random people?

Sorry to hear your news.

Unfortunately there's nothing you can "do" per se. Time, as cliche as it is, is the best healer, however it's important not to dwell on it at the same time. Stop asking why, stop trying to get answer - sure, closure helps, but unless you're given a reason that's not going to happen.

Try and keep yourself busy, take up new hobbies and keep your chin up dude. :)

How is that helpful - in anyway - what - so - ever?

The best thing to do (aside from posting on GD, ofc) is to allow the pain to hurt. If you try and move on too quickly, it will hurt for longer. Like a death, allow yourself to grieve and hurt for a while.

Then occupy yourself with something time consuming and distracting, or introduce a new element to your life you didnt have with her so that you are doing something new. Or make a change for the better in your life to show that something good has come from this (stop smoking, etc).

HTH.

No1 rule of a good partnership.... Argue about silly things then make up after :D

How do you think im still with my life partner for 6 years?

Well not true... We dont argue that much... we all lovy dovy :P
